From the Lean Canvas to the 360° Assessment: Understanding Your Business to Help It Grow

As part of the Pro-Congo Programme, the Nabahya Food Institute (NFI) supports businesses in an essential process: deepening their Business Model Canvas (BMC) and conducting a 360° Assessment.

However, the objective is not simply to fill in boxes.

It is about taking an honest look at the business and answering essential questions:

Who is my real customer? Why do they buy? How do I reach and retain them? How much does my product actually cost? What profit margin am I making? What are my strengths and weaknesses?

The BMC helps businesses understand how they create, deliver, and capture value. The 360° Assessment then evaluates their actual capacity to make that model work.

Our principle is simple:

A high score means nothing without evidence. A low score can become an opportunity for incubation.

We therefore seek to distinguish facts, assumptions, and ambitions while verifying consistency between the Lean Canvas, the BMC, and the 360° Assessment.

The aim is not to present the business as it would like to be, but as it truly is today. This accurate snapshot allows us to develop relevant support and an incubation plan tailored to its needs.

Through the Pro-Congo Programme, NFI helps businesses better understand their models, structure their activities, strengthen their capabilities, and transform their challenges into drivers of sustainable growth.
